Seven places you should drop by in Chiyoda, the center of Japan!

As I introduced the older post “Tokyo Imperial Palace, where the Emperor of Japan lives” , there is the Tokyo Imperial Palace in Chiyoda city.

In addition there are also popular places where you should drop by around the palace. Each of them are very famous, politic and worth to be!

National Diet Building is located Southwest from Tokyo Imperial Palace. A lot of politician are gathered here and hold diet conference. This place is just where politics of Japan is born. Tomorrow of Japan rests on your shoulders!

National Diet Library

National Diet Library is located North direction from National Diet Building and is only national library in Japan. There are ALL of books published in Japan. ALL books! unbelievable… It must be billions number of books.

Yasukuni Shrine

Yasukuni Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It’s very historical and political shrine too.

Nippon Budokan

Nippon Budokan

Nippon Budokan is located in Kitanomaru Park and just 3 minutes away from Yasukuni Shrine. It’s an indoor arena in central Tokyo. This is the location where many “Live at the Budokan” albums were recorded, including those of Bob Dylan, Cheap Trick and Ozzy Osbourne.
