Shinjuku Gyoen national Japanese garden

Shinjuku Gyoen is a big garden located on border of Shinjuku and Shibuya and is under the control of Japanese government. It’s one of the most famous and popular garden for sightseeing in Tokyo. Shinjuku Gyoen consists of three part of areas, Japanese garden, United Kingdom garden and French garden in 58 ha (580,000㎡) of ground. Over 10,000 trees including 1300 cherry trees are planted in here. Many people come here to enjoy watching cherry blossom every Spring.

You can get Shinjuku Gyoen from Shinjuku Station or Sendagaya Station on JR Soubu line on foot.
